Barrier Free Travels

Last week while we were doing some editorial research in Big Bear Lake, Charles and I found our first geocache. Am I speaking a foreign language to you? No worries, you're not alone. When I told my friend Connie about geocaching, she thought I was literally looking for a bunch of rocks. Not exactly.

Well it seems that the big "ferret controversy" up in Ottowa, has finally been resolved. As you may recall, the whole brouhaha started when Gyno the service ferret was denied permission to ride the public bus.

Well it was time to get up with the chickens this morning and head off to the airport. Actually, to be technically correct, our chicken (Agnes) was still asleep when we left. But when you live 1.5 hours from the airport and you have a 6 AM flight, that's just what you have to do.

I'd be remiss in my duties if I didn't mention a press release I got last week from Air France. First off, I couldn't believe they actually sent me a press release, but I digress. 

I'm somewhat disappointed, if not a bit surprised by the American Hotel and Lodging Association's (AHLA) recent response to the proposed changes in the American with Disabilities Act Architectural Guidelines (ADAAG). OK, maybe not that surprised, but definitely disappointed.
